"I just had to tell you that my son had the best baseball game of his life, tonight. Last Wednesday was his first game and he struck out both times up to bat. After the game I got the usual, head down and bat dragging all the way to the car. Tonight, his first time up to bat he hit a ground ball to second and got on first base. His second time, he had an awesome fly ball to right field but it was caught. His third time at bat he had a great hit to center field and made it to second base!!! It was clear when he was up to bat his confidence was as high as ever! He was actually smiling after the game rather than dragging his bat with his head down. It was a great improvement.
